  3. Standardized programs no longer work, a customized and collaborative approach is a potential way forward

Hence, these trends mirrors individuals’ work motivators and while we have built a very strong industry-backed primary research repository for us, it supports us in servicing our clients with much sharper and accurate skilling solutions – striking the right leadership chords, to help GCCs and global organisations build a powerful, future-ready talent pipeline across domains.”

The report reveals that 45% of respondents are Millennials (ages 29–44), 31% are GenX (ages 45–60), 22% are GenZ (ages 13–28), and 2% are Baby Boomers (ages 61–79). Your Shortcut to CUET Success: Get the Best Guidance

March 7, 2025: Choosing the right mentor for preparation for CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is essential for structured and successful study. A mentor provides a customized study plan based on a student’s strengths and weaknesses, guiding them through difficult topics with expert advice. They help students develop exam strategies, manage time efficiently, and offer motivational support to keep them focused. In addition, mentors provide access to key resources, conduct mock tests, and deliver expert feedback. These combined efforts enhance the student’s confidence, leading to improved performance in the CUET exam.

  • Personalized Study Approach: Every student learns differently. A mentor assesses strengths and weaknesses, helping craft a personalized plan that ensures targeted learning. This ensures that weak areas are improved while building on strengths.

  • Expert Knowledge and Experience: An experienced mentor with an in-depth understanding of CUET’s syllabus and structure provides valuable insights on important topics, common pitfalls, and subject selection strategies. This guidance helps students tackle the exam more effectively and confidently.

  • Time Management Skills: Navigating CUET requires more than knowledge—it demands smart time management. A mentor helps students organize their study schedules and teaches them how to approach the exam with a strategic mindset. This ensures that they complete the paper within the given time frame while maintaining accuracy.

  • Consistent Feedback and Improvement: Regular mock tests and evaluations are crucial for CUET success. A mentor offers consistent feedback, highlights areas for improvement, and tracks progress. This ongoing evaluation ensures that students remain on the right path and continuously refine their preparation.

  • Emotional Support and Motivation: Preparing for an entrance exam like CUET can be mentally exhausting. A mentor serves as both a guide and a source of emotional support, offering encouragement during challenging times and helping students maintain focus and a positive attitude. This motivational boost can be the difference between feeling overwhelmed and staying confident.

While choosing the right mentor is crucial for CUET’s success, it’s equally important to follow proven strategies for effective preparation. Maintaining a consistent study routine, revising key concepts regularly, and solving mock tests and previous year’s papers help reinforce your learning and boost your confidence. With expert guidance and strategic planning, you can develop time management skills, strengthen weaker areas, and approach the exam with a clear mind, ensuring a higher chance of success on exam day.

Healthy Work Culture: Ensuring Safety This Ramada

March 6th, 2025, National – The month of Ramadan, a pivotal month in the Islamic calendar, is anticipated to begin on or around 28 February[1] and lasts for 29-30 days. Around two billion Muslims worldwide[2] will be fasting from dawn to dusk during this period. International SOS, the world’s leading health and security risk services company, highlights the importance of prioritizing both physical health and mental well-being during this period of spiritual growth and renewal. Recognizing the physical demands and changes in routine associated with fasting, organizations should prioritize the health, safety, and overall well-being of their Muslim employees.

Dr Vikram Vora, Medical Director at International SOS shares: “Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for fasting employees is crucial during Ramadan. Organizations can demonstrate their commitment by promoting healthy practices such as eating balanced meals at Suhoor (the pre-dawn meal before the fast begins) and Iftar (the meal to break the fast at sunset), proper hydration, sufficient rest and ensuring a healthy work-life balance throughout the holy month.

Individuals traveling or working in Muslim-majority countries during Ramadan are advised to familiarise themselves with local customs and traditions. “During Ramadan, businesses and government offices in Muslim-majority typically adjust working hours. In some regions, non-fasting individuals are expected to refrain from eating, drinking, or smoking in public during daylight hours. Additionally, traffic can become particularly congested in the lead-up to Iftar (the breaking of the fast). If you are traveling during this time, it is advisable to plan your journey, factoring in potential delays.”, counsels Dr Vora.

Eid-al-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan and is recognized as a public holiday in many countries, is a time for many to come together in celebration. By prioritising the health, safety and wellbeing of employees and fostering an understanding of local customs, organisations can create a supportive and inclusive environment during this important time, while also ensuring business continuity and the safety of all.

International SOS provides five key tips for organizations to support employees during Ramadan:

  1. Promote healthy practices: Remind employees to stay hydrated during non-fasting hours by consuming at least two liters of water between Iftar and Suhoor. Emphasise that consuming nutrient-rich meals helps to sustain energy, enhances sleep quality and helps to maintain focus and productivity during the day.
  2. Create an open culture: Encourage open communication by establishing clear and inclusive policies on religious observance. Enable employees to feel comfortable to discuss their needs during Ramadan, fostering a respectful and supportive workplace.
  3. Offer access to mental health and wellbeing resources: Ensure easy access to resources that promote overall wellbeing, including mental and emotional health. This can include Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs), mindfulness programmes and related resources.
  4. Encourage flexibility: Offer adaptable working arrangements, such as adjusted start and finish timings to accommodate prayer breaks. Understanding and flexibility go a long way in ensuring employees feel supported.
  5. Provide essential resources: Share practical advice including dietary tips or energy-maintenance strategies, to empower employees to make healthy choices during Ramadan. Disseminating guidelines on health and wellness practices at the workplace demonstrates care and commitment to the overall well-being of employees during Ramadan.

Emkay Wealth Sees Bullish Run for Silver Ahead

Mumbai, March 6th, 2025: Emkay Wealth Management Ltd, the wealth management arm of Emkay Global Financial Services has released a press note on silver. Prices of silver in INR terms, have moved up by 15% in CY24 and YTD 2025 the prices are up by another 11%. A confluence of factors such as falling US interest rates, geopolitical situation, and uncertainties surrounding Trump policies have been supportive of precious metals. Going ahead silver prices are expected to be well supported.

Fundamental Factors

The medium-term as well as long-term factors indicate a positive outlook for silver. The US interest rates are expected to follow a downward trajectory for 2025, albeit at a gradual pace. Over the near to medium term interest rates are a critical determinant of demand for precious metals. The geopolitical situation is expected to remain fluid over the near term and the trade policies of the Trump administration are expected to encourage safe-haven demand.

The long-term outlook of a commodity is determined by the demand-supply scenario. The supply of silver has been in deficit over the last four years. The supply for CY24 is estimated at 1,004 million ounces whereas demand is estimated at 1,219 million ounces. The majority of this demand (~60%) comes from industrial uses. Silver finds extensive applications in electronic devices, circuit boards, solar panels, and electric vehicle batteries. As the adoption of EVs and green energy technologies continues to gain traction, the industrial demand for silver is expected to remain robust.

Technical Factors

Silver is showing signs of relatively higher momentum with the price trying to breach the crucial US$ 33 level. With a variety of industrial uses silver is expected to have a better run moving higher from the current level to US$ 36.60, US$ 38.70, and US$ 39.30. Investing in silver funds with a 12 to 18-month time horizon is likely to be a worthy proposition.

The second technical factor of import is the gold-silver ratio. At current prices, the gold-silver ratio is hovering around the 90 mark, indicating a relative cheapness in silver prices. If the ratio is to go back to its long term range of 50 to 70, it translates into strengthening silver prices over the medium term.
