Mumbai, 06 March 2025: Rulka Electricals Limited (REL or “The Company”) (NSE – SME: RULKA), a leading provider of integrated electrical and fire-fighting services, continued its order-winning momentum – with receipt of new orders totaling Rs. 11.78 crore. Two major realty sector clients of the company—an MNC and an Indian player—were awarded these orders. The new orders include electrical, firefighting requirements, solar EPC contracts and turnkey electrical warehousing projects for nine projects across four states. The Maharashtra project is valued at Rs. 8.09 crore and will consist of electrical and firefighting requirements. Projects in Karnataka, Telangana, and Gujarat are valued at Rs. 3.61 crore, Rs. 2.91 lakh, and Rs. 5.65 lakh, respectively, and feature electrical work requirements. The new orders encompass both greenfield and fit-out assignments and are anticipated to be executed within 4 to 24 months.

In a survey among over 3,000 women business owners; one of the largest such studies conducted so far – the 8th edition of NeoGrowth’s NeoInsights study, ‘The Entrepreneurial Spirit of Women Business Owners in India’, provided deep insights into such entrepreneurial journeys, and examined their motivations, challenges, and ambitions – while emphasizing on impact they were leaving at multiple levels.
Around 98% of the respondents said that they promote economic growth for themselves and their families by virtue of their businesses. Further, 61% reported that the standard of living had improved for their families, while an equally strong 54% reported enhanced confidence and financial self-reliance.
Women entrepreneurs also impacted their communities, with 67% having empowered other women towards financial independence, 50% having inspired employees to start their ventures, and 47% being role models for young girls to pursue education.

The majority of respondents (81%) run their businesses independently and the rest also take support from their family and spouses. This trend of running a business independently is particularly evident among experienced business owners over 40 years of age, who have built confidence over time. Meanwhile, those in the age group of 21-30 years, relied more on peer networks and family support for business growth. Besides this, 72% of entrepreneurs make critical business decisions independently, while others prefer making collaborative decisions with family and colleagues.

Women business owners believed that financial discipline was a key pillar for success with 93% of respondents actively managing their finances. UL Fire Regulatory Lab Certification Awarded to Honeywell India
Mumbai, 6th March 2025 – Honeywell (NASDAQ: HON) announced a significant milestone achieved by its Building Automation Fire regulatory lab. The lab has successfully attained the prestigious Client Test Data Program (CTDP) accreditation from Underwriters Laboratories (UL), certifying its equipment, processes, and personnel to conduct regulatory testing for Fire Systems/Panels independently. This achievement positions Honeywell Technology Solutions (HTS) as a leader in the Asia-Pacific region, achieving CTDP accreditation and setting a new benchmark for excellence in the industry.
The CTDP accreditation grants HTS the autonomy to execute regulatory tests and submit reports directly to UL for review and certification. This milestone is expected to deliver upwards of 30% savings in regulatory costs and cycle time, significantly enhancing operational efficiency for Honeywell’s Fire Systems business.
