Chennai, May 8: Chennai’s independent music community has come together to organise “Turn Up For Devoid,” a six-day fundraiser concert series in support of the recovery and rehabilitation of local artist Devoid following a tragic road accident while returning from Bengaluru.

The accident claimed the life of Sarvesh Bairav and left Devoid and fellow passenger Deepika Rajeswari seriously injured. After spending 10 days in the CCU, Devoid has shown remarkable recovery, and members of the music fraternity are now uniting to extend financial and emotional support for his continued rehabilitation.
The fundraiser is being organised as a collective effort by Devoid’s close friends and collaborators, including Ashwin Kashyap Raghuraman representing Supernova, Giri (Gininand), who has opened Aura Studio for the full week of performances, singer-composer Manoj Krishna, rapper Arcus, and Srikanth representing The Chennai Scene.
The concert series is being held from May 5 to May 10, 2026, at Aura Studio, T. Nagar, Chennai, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. each day. Entry is restricted to 75 attendees per day in order to maintain a safe and intimate atmosphere, and participation is on a first-come, first-served basis through prior registration only.
A minimum donation of ₹1,000 is required per day, and each donation will be valid only for the specific date selected at the time of registration. Those interested in attending must scan the QR code on the official event poster to register, after which payment details will be shared directly through WhatsApp to confirm the booking.
The fundraiser will feature performances by a wide range of acclaimed and emerging artists from the Chennai music scene, including Office Gaana, Ms Krsna, Oxygen, Tanvi Shah, Kalyani Nair, The Indian Choral Ensemble, Vijaynarain, Snax, Saxhouse, Alkemy, BCMC (Tapass), Jhanu, Ramya Ram, Manoj Krishna, Gonzy, Dvina Nethrayan, Nitesh Aher, Stevie, and several more artists who are joining the initiative in support of Devoid.
The organising team said that the concert series is not only intended to raise funds, but also to show Devoid that the Chennai music community stands firmly beside him during his recovery journey.
