Target Learning Ventures Hosts Expert-Led Webinars on Child Well-Being and School Bus Safety for the New Academic Year

Mumbai, June 23: As schools across the country commence the new academic year, Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd. a leading educational resource provider and trusted publishing house, organized two insightful webinars aimed at addressing key concerns faced by parents, educators, and schools during the back-to-school season. The sessions focused on helping children transition smoothly into school life and ensuring their safety during daily commutes.

The first webinar, titled “Understanding Separation Anxiety in Young Children Starting School,” was led by Dr. Divya Wale, MBBS, DCH, Developmental & Behavioural Pediatrician at New Horizons Child Development Centre. The session highlighted that separation anxiety is common and developmentally normal among young children. Dr. Wale discussed how consistency in routines is more effective than reassurance alone, why avoidance can strengthen anxiety over time, and how most children gradually adjust when provided with the right support and guidance.

Speaking during the webinar, Dr. Divya Wale said, “Separation anxiety is a natural part of a child’s development. Parents and educators play a crucial role in helping children build confidence through predictable routines, patience, and positive reinforcement. With consistent support, most children learn to adapt and thrive in their school environment.”

The second webinar, “Ensure Every School Bus Ride is a Safe Ride,” was led by Subhash Shinde, Retired Senior Police Inspector, Traffic Department. The session covered critical aspects of school bus safety, including clear identification of school buses, student safety measures, vehicle compliance, driver and attendant responsibilities, modern safety features, and the role schools must play in maintaining safe transportation systems.

Addressing participants, Subhash Shinde, Retd. Sr. Police Inspector, Traffic Department, said, “School bus safety is a shared responsibility. From vehicle compliance and trained personnel to active monitoring by schools, every stakeholder has a role in ensuring that children travel safely every day. Awareness and adherence to safety standards can significantly reduce risks and prevent accidents.”

Commenting on the webinars, Dilip Gangaramani, Founder Director & CEO of Target Learning Ventures Pvt. Ltd., said, “The start of a new academic year is an opportunity to build strong foundations for success. While academic readiness is important, emotional resilience and student safety are equally critical. Our goal is to bring expert perspectives to parents and educators so that every child can begin the school year with confidence, safety, and the support they need to flourish.”
