Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Limited launches ‘Stree, Shakti, Samriddhi’, an investor education initiative to empower women investors

Jaipur, May 04: Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, India’s second-oldest Mutual Fund, has launched its investor education initiative ‘Stree, Shakti, Samriddhi’, aimed to empower women across the nation through financial knowledge, encouraging their participation in mutual fund investments and promoting financial literacy.

The initiative was launched in Jaipur and will be expanded as a pan-India drive, reaching women across diverse regions and communities. Through this program, Canara Robeco AMC aims to build financial awareness, promote disciplined investing and enable women to take confident financial decisions.

The programme will feature a series of interactive workshops, expert-led sessions and on-ground community engagements. These activities will be targeted at increasing financial literacy amongst women by raising awareness around savings, investments and use of digital financial solutions.

Starting from Jaipur, we are committed to taking this initiative across the country to drive meaningful change.”

The initiative is designed to simplify investment concepts to make it simple and relatable, while addressing the common myths around mutual funds and financial planning. By building awareness and confidence, it aims to drive greater participation of women in their financial journeys.

The initiative reinforces Canara Robeco AMC’s continued commitment to investor education and financial inclusion. The AMC has also undertaken several other investor education initiatives, including Nivesh Bus Yatra, introducing the 3S Rap Song, collaborating with Mint publication for regular investor education articles, etc., aimed at promoting financial awareness and encouraging informed investing.
