January 27, 2025: Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida, in partnership with the Indian Medical Association (IMA), Noida, successfully hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) session, bringing together over 200 prominent doctors from across NCR, shedding light on Robotic Kidney transplants, Blood diseases, BMT and Liver transplantation. The event concluded with a Gala Night in Noida.

Present today at the occasion were Dr. Kausar Shah, Executive Vice President and Zonal Head, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida Sector 128 and Bulandshahr, Dr. Sunil Awana, President – Indian Medical Association (IMA) Noida, Dr. GP Gupta, Secretary – Indian Medical Association (IMA) Noida, and Dr Dimple Bordoloi, Treasurer – Indian Medical Association (IMA) Noida.

The CME began with a warm welcome from Dr. Pankaj Wadhwa, Senior Director of Uro-Oncology, Robotic Surgery, and Endourology at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida. He set the stage for an evening dedicated to learning, innovation, and collaboration in healthcare.

Keynote speaker Dr. (Prof) Rajesh Ahlawat, Group Chairman – Centre of Excellence of Prostate & Urological Cancers and Male Health, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida provided valuable insights into the surgical advances in Kidney Transplants and Robotic Kidney Transplantation, highlighting groundbreaking advancements in the field.

Dr. Satyaranjan Das, Director – Haemato-Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida provided an in-depth exploration of the blood diseases and its treatment including BMT, while Dr. K R Vasudevan, Director – Liver Transplant & Surgical Gastroenterology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Noida discussed the indication and timing of Liver Transplant.
