Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 Sees Huge Response
Mumbai / New Delhi, Tuesday, 22st January 2025: Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 continued to see remarkable participation from auto enthusiasts, students and the public in general on the second day of the week.
SIAM organized the 3rd International Symposium for Thriving Eco-Energy in Mobility (ISTEM), at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, today. The discussion was centered on the theme “Future-Ready Solutions: Road to Carbon Neutralization”, and aimed at advancing sustainable mobility, bringing together various eminent speakers and dignitaries. The conference served as a collaborative platform to discuss innovative strategies, solutions, and frameworks for achieving carbon neutrality in the mobility sector.
The Nasscom Mobility Tech Pavilion at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 brought together industry leaders from the automotive, technology, and mobility sectors, along with global Engineering Research & Development heads and academia. The pavilion emphasized on key themes such as sustainable mobility, and robust cybersecurity for connected vehicles, positioning India as a frontrunner in shaping the future of mobility.
The Mercedes Benz India pavilion welcomed eminent Indian cricketer Shubhman Gill and rising Bollywood actor Vedang Raina at Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2025. The star-studded presence drew attention, creating an exhilarating atmosphere at the pavilion. Mercedes outdoor pavilion showcased an all-electric version of the Mercedes G-Class, the G 580, which captured attention with its G-Turn maneuver.
Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan made a special appearance at the Maruti Suzuki India Limited pavilion today, adding to the glamour and excitement at the Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2025. This was a part of Maruti Suzuki India Limited’s announcement of appointing Kartik Aaryan as the brand ambassador for the Brezza, launching an exciting new campaign, “More Power to Your Play.”
At the steel pavilion, ArcellorMittal Nippon Steel India showcased their products and innovations such as the H Frame, Double Door Ring, Battery Pack Solution, and much more.
At Tyre expo 2025, brands such as Michelin, JK Tyre, and MRF attracted visitors with their creative setups. Michelin captivated visitors with their Play Zone, where attendees could race against each other on a digital console. MRF ZLX setup a picture booth, where visitors could take a seat at the tyre shaped chair and click their pictures with a digital version of MRF’s brand ambassador, Virat Kohli. While the Formula 4 car at the JK Tyre stall was stealing the show and igniting the imagination of race enthusiasts across age groups.
This state-of-the-art exhibit featured transformative solutions shaping the future of transportation, from contributors like Bosch, HCLTech, Tata Elxsi, KPIT, QuestGlobal, and Capgemini, alongside other startups and mobility service providers.
‘The Components Show’ at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi concluded today on a high note, highlighting India’s evolving automotive ecosystem and progress toward Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Highlights of the past days include the unveiling and showcasing of innovative products and solutions, ranging from DGMS-compliant safety technologies by Novus Hi-Tech to revolutionary Paint Protection Films by ALP Group, advanced EV solutions by BorgWarner, and ParaSafe’s groundbreaking Jacket and Jeans designed specifically for motorcyclists, delivery personnel, and high-risk users, representing a transformative leap in personal safety and mobility.
The third day of the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and the Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show also saw remarkable participation, from the industry stakeholders as well as from the visitors.
A series of Insightful discussions on the future of urban air mobility (UAM) in India and the CE Industry Driving Progress and Growth were organized today at Expo Mart, Greater Noida. The International Conference on Air Mobility focused on the theme “Aerial Evolution: Shaping Tomorrow’s Urban Air Mobility” brought together policymakers, industry leaders, and global industry experts and iCEMA in association with the Ministry of Heavy Industries hosted the 3rd CE Manufacturing & Supply Chain Summit.
Kia India Unveils EV6 at Bharat Mobility Expo 2025
New Delhi, 20th Jan 2025: Kia India, a leading mass premium carmaker, unveiled the new EV6 at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Kia India also announced that bookings for the new Kia EV6 start today, marking another milestone in the brand’s electric journey.
The new Kia EV6 continues to set the standard for safety, equipped with our ADAS 2.0 package, which includes 27 advanced safety and driver assistance features. As compared to previous EV6 we have added five additional ADAS 2.0 features – Front Collisions Avoidance assist (FCA) – City/Pedestrian/Cyclist/Junction Turning, Forward Collision Avoidance (FCA) – Junction crossing, Forward Collision Avoidance– Lane Assist Change (FCA) – Oncoming & Side, Forward Collision Avoidance assist (FCA) – Evasive Steering and Lane Follow Assist (LFA). These features are derived from the cutting-edge technology from our flagship model, EV9 and include improvements to collision safety, structural rigidity, and enhanced occupant protection. With the added strength and enhanced ADAS package, you can drive with confidence, knowing that the EV6 is designed to protect.
The EV9 stands as Kia’s flagship electric SUV, setting new standards for technology and innovation in the automotive industry, globally. Having crowned as the prestigious WCOTY 2024, the vehicle is powered by a 99.8 kWh battery, the EV9 offers an impressive range of up to 561 km on a single charge, making it suitable for both city commutes and long-distance travel. Its ultra-fast charging capability allows the battery to recharge from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes with a 350kW DC charger.
Kia India is also showcasing its legacy of pushing boundaries by seamlessly harmonizing global technology, luxurious design, and sustainable engineering with its product range including the newly debuted Kia Syros. At the Auto Expo, Kia will showcase cutting-edge technology with several key demonstrations highlighting our commitment to innovation and sustainability. In the electrification segment, the E-Vision concept will offer an immersive visual experience, powered by the E-GMP platform and 4th Gen Battery technology. Additionally, the Kia Smart Home will provide a connected home experience, featuring outdoor seating powered by the EV9’s Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capabilities.
The Hi-Tech segment will feature the Kia Connected World, an immersive Q&A game where visitors can drive through the Kia Smart City, answering questions to earn prizes, while experiencing Kia Connect 2.0, OTA updates, and ADAS technology. An exhibit showcasing over-the-air software updates will provide insight into Kia’s tech engagement, including the controller OTA updates. Digital and AI engagements include the My Kia Life, an AI-powered photo booth allowing visitors to capture their selfies and enter the virtual world of Kia, and My Kia Getaway, an AI-powered video generator that creates personalized driving videos. Lastly, the Carnival de Lounge will provide a premium experience, highlighting Kia’s luxury and design leadership with leather calligraphy, coffee brewing, and high-end imagery.
New Kia EV6: Redefining electric luxury with power, performance, and innovation
Kia’s new EV6 is an electrifying leap forward, with more style, power, and technology than ever before. As the refreshed version of Kia’s first-ever dedicated EV, the vehicle offers significant upgrades that reinforce its position as one of the most advanced electric vehicles in the market.
On the design front, the model features a sportier and more aggressive front end, in line with Kia’s signature Opposites United design language. With up to 15 enhancements, including the new signature Star Map lighting with connected DRLs, a front GT-Line styling bumper, 19-inch glossy finish alloy wheels, and star-map LED rear combination lamps, the new EV6 is bolder, sharper, and more dynamic than its predecessor.
Inside, the new EV6 offers an even more premium and spacious cabin. New features, such as the double D-cut steering wheel with hands-on detection technology, elevate the driving experience and ensure comfort and safety. The vehicle also impresses with its upgraded performance. It now features a powerful 84-kWh battery, offering an impressive range of over 650 km, a significant improvement from the previous 77.4 kWh. With a power output of 325 PS and 605 Nm of torque, the refreshed EV6 delivers an exhilarating driving experience, while its 350-kW fast charger enables a rapid charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.
Safety has always been a priority for Kia, and the new EV6 is no exception. Equipped with the ADAS 2.0 package, it offers 27 advanced safety and driver assistance features, including 5 new autonomous features. These include FCA 2.0 – Junction Turning, which detects oncoming traffic while turning at intersections, and FCA 2.0 – Junction Crossing that prevents collisions when crossing through junctions. Additionally, FCA 2.0 – Lane Change Assist and FCA 2.0 – Evasive Steering Assist provide an extra layer of protection during lane changes and emergency maneuvers, ensuring a smooth, safe drive-in unexpected situation. The vehicle also comes with LFA 2.0 – Lane Follow Assist, which helps maintain proper lane positioning, reducing the risk of accidents caused by unintentional lane departure. Collectively, these features make the new EV6 one of the safest electric vehicles on Indian roads.
Not leaving the tech behind, the new EV6 features a dual 31.2cm (12.3-inch) panoramic curved display, integrating Kia’s next-generation infotainment system- the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit. The vehicle is also equipped with Kia Connect 2.0, allowing Kia Connect Diagnostics and Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates. Additionally, Digital Key 2.0 (featuring Ultra-Wideband technology) transforms a compatible smartphone into a virtual key, offering a new level of convenience.
Kia EV9: A new World of Innovation
The Kia EV9 introduces advanced technology with Kia Connect 2.0, offering seamless connectivity with smart devices, real-time updates, and remote vehicle control. Over-the-air (OTA) updates ensure continuous software enhancements without a dealership visit, while 44 remote diagnostic controllers monitor the car’s performance. The Digital Key 2.0 allows owners to unlock and start the vehicle using their smartphones, and the Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) feature lets users power devices on the go.
Designed with the ‘Opposites United’ philosophy, the EV9 boasts a futuristic angular design and a digital pattern lighting grille. Its digital features include a Trinity panoramic display, combining three HD screens for a comprehensive and intuitive driving experience. Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 Opens to Enthusiastic Crowds
Mumbai / New Delhi, Sunday, 20th January 2025: Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 witnessed a massive turnout of enthusiastic attendees at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, who were excited to explore the latest technological innovations and cutting-edge mobility solutions, along with the products launched and showcased by various brands at their respective pavilions.
Bharat Battery Show with around 88 exhibitors has been opened today with 10 plus product launches and 4 senior officials from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Commerce and Industry. The leading companies like Amara Raja showcased their upcoming giga corridor for lithium-ion batteries and cell manufacturing at the show.
On the third day, SIAM successfully organized the first Summit for Automotive Future Advancement in Road Safety (SAFAR) at Bharat Mandapam, to drive discussions on innovative solutions for road safety. The event, themed “United Efforts for Road Safety: Safer Roads, Our Responsibility”, aimed to foster collaborative approaches to improving road safety in India through impactful discussions, interactive activities, and innovative initiatives.
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Ltd. reinforced its commitment to road safety through its ‘Value Life, Ride Safe’ initiative. Visitors from all age groups were able to engage in interactive road safety games, experience real-life scenarios through simulator riding trainers, and participate in slow riding activities to enhance their skills. To add to the experience, a dedicated selfie zone allowed visitors to also capture their moments of commitment to road safety.
Furthermore, Maruti Suzuki India set up a driving simulator under their Road Safety VR Zone, to educate people on safe driving practices. This was a part of CSR initiative of Maruti Suzuki India Limited with a focus on Road Safety.
BMW India Pvt. Ltd.’s outdoor pavilion at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 garnered significant attention, drawing a large crowd with its thrilling drift performance. A dedicated professional driver showcased remarkable skill, executing donuts around a specially designed small circuit. Each session featured a fresh set of drift tyres and a new car out of 3, ensuring an exhilarating display of performance.
Additionally, Mercedes Benz India unveiled the future of luxury and performance with the Concept CLA-Class at their Arena of Desire today.
Covering other prominent pavilions at tyre expo, Ceat showcased offroad and all terrain tyres for premium SUVs and passenger vehicles among others. They also displayed their crossraid series of 2 wheelers and Ceat Tracks for mining and agricultural automobiles.
Taking a leap forward in tyre technology, Michelin featured their new age tyres which can be modified via in-built 3D printing technology to suit different terrain requirements. Behind the tyre, the brand showcased a video clip showing how users will be able to select different tread options for various terrains such as snow, hills, sand, and much more. Moreover, the brand also put on show their concept for airless radial tyre which can be used on heavy vehicles.
At ‘The Components Show’ at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, exhibitors showcased over 6 automotive products and solutions. Klüber Lubrication presented its sustainable solutions for modern mobility, while BorgWarner highlighted technologies supporting electrification, including LFP battery systems. ATS ELGI unveiled next-gen automotive solutions such as the Smart Light – Touchless Aligner, Autorobot – CRS, and EV products. TEXSPIN displayed products for commercial vehicles, farm & off-road vehicles, passenger cars, and two- & three-wheelers.
Today, the Bharat Construction Equipment Expo and the Urban Mobility Infrastructure Show, under the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, officially commenced at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. Shri Sunil Barthwal, Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, formally inaugurated the event.
Leading companies such as JCB India Ltd, Sany Heavy Industry India Pvt Ltd, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment India Pvt Ltd, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Co. Pvt Ltd, Case Construction, ACE, Schwing Stetter among others showcased their latest products. Meanwhile, the Urban Mobility & Infrastructure Show and its Urban Air Mobility Pavillion also saw active participation from key players, including Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, National Capital Region Transport Corporation Ltd, and Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Ltd, among others.
