Kolkata, 18th March 2025: Filmfare launched its first-ever edition of the Joy Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards West Bengal 2025, celebrating the glamorous and style icons. After 6 successful editions in Mumbai, the journey expanded to Kolkata, paying tribute to West Bengal’s rich fashion and style legacy, that has long shaped India’s style narrative. Held at JW Marriott, Kolkata on March 17th, 2025, the spectacular night brought together the crème de la crème of West Bengal’s style and entertainment industry.
Among the winners, Jeet triumphed with 2 awards – ‘Most Stylish Star (Male)’ and ‘Trailblazer of the Year’, while Rukmini Maitra was named ‘Hotstepper of the Year (Female)’ and Mimi Chakraborty was awarded ‘Trendsetter of the Year’. The stunning Subhashree Ganguly won ‘Most Stylish Star (Female)’, and Usha Uthup was bestowed with the Ultimate Diva Singer award. Swastika Mukherjee was awarded as the Women of Style & Substance.
The ever-elegant Raima Sen took home both ‘Most Fashionable Star (Female)’ and ‘Hottest Star of the Year (Female)’. Beloved couple Nusrat Jahan and Yash Dasgupta were honoured as ‘Most Fashionable Star Couple.’ Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta won ‘Style Icon (Male)’ and ‘Style Icon (Female)’ respectively. Abir Chatterjee was awarded ‘Man of Style and Substance’, while Parambrata Chatterjee received the title of the ‘Most Fashionable Star (Male)’. Cricketing legend Sourav Ganguly was recognized as ‘Sports Icon’, solidifying the event’s recognition of excellence across industries. The legendary Sharmila Tagore was honoured as ‘Style Icon Down the Years’, a testament to her timeless influence on fashion and cinema and Roopa Ganguly was honoured with ‘The Ultimate Diva – Timeless Beauty’ at Joy Filmfare Glam & Style Awards. Koel Mallick was announced as the ‘Most Glamorous Star (Female).’
Elevating the grandeur of the night, the legendary Usha Uthup delivered an enchanting performance, captivating everyone present. One of the most memorable moments of the night was when Vikram Chatterjee, Mimi Chakroborty, Puja Banerjee, Raj Chakrabarty, Moubani Sorcar, Rituparna Sengupta, Jeet, Subhashree , Tanushree, Nusrat, Yash Dasgupta and Anuj came together on the stage to perform on London Thumakda. Meanwhile, hosts Ushoshi Sengupta and Anuj Char, with their effortless charisma and impeccable stage presence, kept the audience engaged throughout the night.
