Lakmē 9to5’s ‘5PM Glam Reset’ is a beauty philosophy that celebrates the moment when the day takes a new turn. Designed around the fluidity of modern life, the idea reflects how women move seamlessly between work, social occasions and after-hours plans, with beauty playing an integral role in that transition. The Lakmē 9to5 Hya Glam range brought this beauty expression to life on the runway, delivering a hydrated, high-impact glow for the Grand Finale.

Drawing from everyday observations and domestic narratives, ‘On a Day Like Today’ translates familiar Indian crafts, objects and gestures into design details. Exploring the shift from the structure of the working day to the freedom of after-hours expression, the collection brings together utility, craft, colour and ornament, balancing considered structure with expressive ease. Four after-hours personalities, The Clock-In, The Unwinder, The Escapist and The Socialiser, serve as character studies that inform the collection’s details, rather than defining distinct categories. Together, they explore the fluidity of dressing and the freedom to move between different versions of oneself.

Sunanda Khaitan, CMO, Beauty & Wellbeing, HUL, said,

“The festive season demands a seamless shift from daytime duties to evening celebrations, and today's woman navigates these distinct worlds every day. For our Grand Finale, collaborating with Amit Aggarwal’s AM:IT was a natural synergy, his ability to draw from the everyday cultural elements of India and reimagine them through modern textures perfectly mirrors the dynamism of our consumer. By pairing his visionary designs with the new Lakme 9to5 HYA Glam range, we are redefining festive readiness: a high-impact, hydrated glow designed to take her effortlessly from the desk to after-hours glamour.”

Aneet Padda, Brand Ambassador, Lakmē, said,

“I love the idea of a look taking you from a long day at work to an evening out. Walking for the Lakmē 9to5 X AM:IT Grand Finale brought that to life for me. The AM:IT collection, paired with the new Lakmē 9to5 HYA Glam range, showed how the right makeup can complement an outfit and bring a whole look together. I think it’s that versatility, where a few thoughtful choices can take a look from simple to statement, that makes getting ready so much fun.”

Amit Aggarwal, Founder and Creative Director, AM:IT, said,

“Our collaboration with Lakmē 9to5 felt instinctive because both fashion and beauty offer ways to transform and express different facets of oneself. With On a Day Like Today, I wanted to draw from the visual language of everyday India, reinterpreting familiar crafts, domestic objects and gestures through unexpected materials, textures and techniques. The collection moves from the structure of the working day into the freedom of after-hours expression, bringing together utility, craft, colour and ornament to reflect the spirit of Lakmē’s ‘5PM Glam Reset’. For me, it is about finding the extraordinary in the familiar and recognising that while the person remains the same, their energy and expression can evolve.”

Closing the season with a pulse of momentum, the Lakmē Fashion Week X FDCI Grand Finale traced the rhythm of a life lived in constant motion. Guided by the ‘5PM Glam Reset’, the convergence of Lakmē 9to5 and AM:IT reframed the boundary between day and evening, turning the simple act of shifting from workday commitments to evening celebration into a masterclass in modern transformation.
