Noida, Aug 12: NTPC Ltd successfully concluded the national finale of Medha Pratiyogita 2026 at its Power Management Institute, Noida, with 24 teams competing across four categories - Junior, Middle, Senior and Employee.
The annual flagship event witnessed participation of 1,863 teams from across NTPC projects & regions, providing a platform to employees and their families to compete in a spirit of healthy competition.
The competition commenced with the Unit/Project-level Written Round on July 12, 2026, followed by regional rounds held at Korba, Ramagundam, Talcher Kaniha, Nabinagar, Dadri and PMI, Noida, culminating in the National Finale on Tuesday.
The National Finale was contested with six teams in each of the four categories, taking the total number of participating finalist teams to 24.
The winners in the four categories were:

Junior: Ahaan and Devayansh Singh - Western Region

Middle: Utkarsh Parikh and Darsh Jain - Northern Region

Senior: Tanmay Verma and Harshit Sharma - Northern Region

Employee: Anshuman Shrivastav and Shubham Mishra - Western Region
Each winning team was awarded ₹30,000 in prize money along with a Certificate of Excellence.
The awards were presented by Shri Anil Kumar Jadli, Director , NTPC Ltd.
