ZURICH, Switzerland, July 22: SCRYPT, the operating system for digital assets, has appointed Stefan Schwitter as Head of Investments, strengthening the company's leadership as demand grows for sophisticated digital asset solutions across banks, asset managers, fintechs, and corporate treasury teams.

In his new role, Schwitter will lead SCRYPT's Asset Management department, overseeing the strategy, client offering, and the continued development of investment solutions designed to help clients access digital assets with confidence.

"The digital asset market is maturing rapidly, and clients increasingly expect the same depth of investment expertise they receive across traditional finance," said Norman Wooding, Founder and CEO, SCRYPT. "Stefan brings more than two decades of experience across private banking, asset management, and digital assets, with a proven ability to build investment businesses that  supports our long-term vision of providing the unified platform institutions need to trade, settle, store and manage digital assets."

Schwitter brings more than 25 years of experience across asset management, wealth management, trading, structured products, and digital assets. His career spans both buy-side and sell-side environments, giving him broad expertise in developing investment platforms, leading go-to-market strategies, and building client-focused businesses across traditional and digital finance.

Most recently, Schwitter served as CEO of Matrixport Asset Management AG, following his role as CEO of Crypto Finance AG, the first FINMA-licensed crypto asset manager. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at AMINA Bank, VP Bank Group, LGT Bank, EFG Bank, UBS, and Credit Suisse, building a distinguished track record across investment management and private banking.

"The conversation around digital assets has changed significantly over the last few years. Investors are increasingly focused on building resilient, long-term strategies rather than simply accessing the market," said Stefan Schwitter, Head of Asset Management, SCRYPT. "SCRYPT has built an exceptional platform to support that evolution, and I'm excited to help expand our offering as demand continues to mature."

The appointment reinforces SCRYPT's commitment to expanding its asset management capabilities as it continues to broaden the range of services available to banks, asset managers, fintechs, payment providers, and corporate clients participating in the digital asset economy.
