PVR INOX PICTURES EXPANDS ANIME PORTFOLIO WITH SHIN-CHAN: THE SPICY KASUKABE DANCERS IN INDIA 

National, 12 September 2025 – PVR INOX Pictures, the distribution arm of India’s largest multiplex chain, is bringing one of the world’s most iconic animated characters back to the big screen with Shin-Chan: The Spicy Kasukabe Dancers in India, releasing in cinemas on 26 September 2025. 

After the successful theatrical release of Shin-Chan: Our Dinosaur Diary in India, PVR INOX Pictures is now scaling up its anime portfolio with a film that promises to be a cultural celebration. For the first time ever, Shin-Chan and his gang travel to India discovering chapatis, curry, “namaste” greetings, and joining a vibrant Indian dance festival blending Japanese humour with Indian colours and traditions.
