Aug 10: Boardrooms have already made their decision on Agentic AI. Across industries, organisations are moving beyond Generative AI pilots to exploring autonomous AI agents that can reason, plan, make decisions, and execute complex workflows with minimal human intervention. The strategic intent is clear. The execution, however, is proving far more difficult.
The numbers reflect a growing readiness gap. 62percentage of organisations are already experimenting with or scaling AI agents , yet 66percentage say their workforce needs additional skills and training to effectively use and manage these systems. More critically, only 13% have the governance structures required to manage AI agents responsibly at scale. For many organisations, the challenge is no longer access to technology; it is the shortage of leaders who can evaluate AI platforms, redesign business workflows, establish governance guardrails, manage risk, and build credible business cases for enterprise-wide deployment.
Addressing this need, iHUB DivyaSampark, IIT Roorkee, in partnership with Emeritus, has launched the Post Graduate Certificate in Agentic AI Strategy for Business. Rather than functioning as a coding bootcamp, the four-month programme has been designed for business leaders, functional heads, AI strategists, and technology and transformation professionals responsible for setting enterprise AI direction. With a 100percentage no-code approach, it focuses on helping participants evaluate, govern, and scale Agentic AI across business functions with confidence.
The curriculum combines strategic thinking with practical enterprise application through six learning pillars and sixteen modules, covering Intelligent Autonomous Systems, Agentic Business Workflows, Decision Intelligence and Multi-Agent Systems, Governance and Responsible AI, Leadership in the Age of Autonomous Organisations, and an enterprise-focused Capstone Project.
The applied learning experience is a defining feature of the programme and includes:
-
Three dedicated hands-on exercise weeks where participants build a business AI agent, an enterprise multi-agent workflow, and a production-inspired Agentic RAG system using no-code tools.
-
A board-ready enterprise capstone project that culminates in an end-to-end Agentic AI transformation blueprint covering workflow design, governance, risk, and ROI frameworks.
-
Live IIT faculty masterclasses, weekly live sessions with programme leaders, and hands-on exposure to enterprise tools including n8n, Google AI Studio, Docker, Pinecone, Redis, PostgreSQL, GitHub, LangSmith, and NotebookLM.
-
An optional two-day campus immersion at IIT Roorkee's Noida campus for programme graduates.
Paraphrasing the programme's vision, Manish Anand, CEO of iHUB DivyaSampark, believes the next phase of enterprise AI adoption will depend not on greater awareness, but on leaders who can translate Agentic AI ambition into governed, measurable business outcomes. The programme has been designed to help participants bridge that gap between experimentation and enterprise execution.
The programme also draws credibility from the institution behind it. iHUB DivyaSampark is a Section 8 Technology Innovation Hub established at IIT Roorkee under the National Mission on Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems, an initiative of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. The mission is coordinated through a high-level interministerial framework chaired by the CEO of NITI Aayog, with participation from multiple central ministries, reinforcing its focus on advancing research, innovation, and workforce capability in emerging technologies.
Designed for senior decision-makers rather than technical specialists, the programme is intended for technology and transformation professionals, functional heads, AI strategists, and business leaders responsible for AI investment, vendor evaluation, governance, and enterprise transformation. The programme requires No coding experience, making it accessible to professionals who need to lead AI adoption rather than build the underlying technology.
The growing demand for these capabilities is reflected in the market. According to the EY Agentic AI in the Workplace Survey, 54% of employees believe they are falling behind their peers in their use of Agentic AI, while the PwC Global AI Jobs Barometer 2025 reports that professionals with AI skills earn up to 56% higher wages than peers in similar roles.
As enterprises move from AI experimentation to organisation-wide deployment, competitive advantage will increasingly depend on leaders who can connect technology with governance, strategy, and execution.
