New Delhi, Aug 12: Two months after its debut in the heart of Connaught Place, Tyde, THE Park New Delhi's premium all-day, multi-cuisine dining destination, has moved past the opening buzz and into something more durable: a habit. Guests return for the cooking, linger for the atmosphere, and come back again for both, early signs of a restaurant settling into the kind of standing most spend years chasing.
That momentum extends beyond the menu. Saturdays come alive with live music, while Sundays are anchored by Tyde's signature brunch and a rotating series of themed editions, creating new reasons for guests to return week after week.
Inspired by the idea that a restaurant should evolve as effortlessly as water, Tyde shifts with the day. Mornings through 6 PM move at an unhurried, casual pace, given over to sandwiches, smash burgers, Neapolitan pizzas and artisanal coffee. Come evening, a distinct dinner menu takes over, matched to an elevated bar programme built on four signature cocktails, each one an Indian ingredient reworked through a different lens. Signature serves such as Delhi 6 B&T recasts the classic banta in tequila, cucumber and citrus; while Caribbean Chai folds dark rum around the warmth of masala chai. That same spirit of reinvention extends naturally to the kitchen.
The menu pairs slow-cooked Indian classics with global influences, from Old Delhi's Nalli Nihari and Bhatti Murg to Kerala-inspired Black Cod Moilee, Pan-Asian Wet-Brined Duck, handmade tortellini and wood-fired pizzas, along with Za'atar-Spiced Aubergine nods to the Middle East. Ingredient-led and technique-driven, it is designed to feel familiar on the first visit while offering something new with every return.
Designed by Woods Bagot, Tyde draws inspiration from the calibrated geometry of Jantar Mantar and from water's deeper place in Indian ritual, memory and architecture. At its centre stands Dar Badar, a brass installation by artist Intiyaz that reflects on water access and on the quiet anonymity of individuals within larger systems. Textile works by Hansika Sharma, Within the Ocean and Fragments of the Ocean, bring embroidery, zari and mirror-work into compositions drawn from the sea, set against an indigo-and-brass palette that reads bright and energised by morning, and turns cinematic by night.
