Traditionally, the festive season is considered an auspicious time for big investments and buying a new home tops that list for many families. It is a belief steeped in religious and cultural practices, where festivals such as Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Diwali are considered to be auspicious times for making important life choices and hence we expect this momentum to grow stronger in the coming days. We are already seeing more inquiries as this period naturally offers a supportive environment for consumers to purchase their dream homes.
Increasing desire for homeownership supported by favourable regulatory policies, higher disposable incomes, and willingness to upgrade to larger, luxurious spaces equipped with better amenities have been witnessing a sharp growth in the recent past. There is widespread interest in mid-to-premium well-located properties that combine modern amenities with excellent connectivity and provide a robust community living ecosystem.
However, while investing in a property during festive season, buyers should not only look at the attractive deals but also consider the reputation of the developer and other factors like location, execution capability, flexible payment terms, amenities, rental potential, and long-term value.
We certainly believe that residential real estate will continue to see steady growth in the years to come, presenting good prospects for first-time purchasers as well as seasoned investors. The festive season will solidify the sector’s upward trajectory well into 2027, cementing the Indian real estate market as a key driver of economic growth.
