Yuva Sangam Phase VI Student Delegates Visit Raj Bhawan, Interact with Uttar Pradesh Governor

Lucknow, June 4: Being hosted by Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, under Phase VI of Yuva Sangam, an initiative under the Government of India’s “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” programme, 34 student delegates from Arunachal Pradesh gained immersive experiences during their visit to Uttar Pradesh.Yuva Sangam Phase VI Student Delegates Visit Raj Bhawan, Interact with Uttar Pradesh Governor

Delegates participated in a tree plantation drive at the IIM Lucknow campus encouraging ecological preservation efforts and reinforcing the values of community engagement and collective action toward a greener future.

A key highlight of the program was the delegation’s visit to Raj Bhawan, where participants had the opportunity to meet and interact with the Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Smt. Anandiben Patel. During the interaction, Hon’ble Governor encouraged delegates to embrace India’s diversity, and contribute meaningfully to nation-building efforts. The interaction at Raj Bhawan provided a unique platform for the student delegates to gain insights into public service and governance.

The visit also featured vibrant cultural performances by the student delegates. Through traditional dance and musical presentations, the participants showcased the cultural heritage, traditions, and artistic expressions of their state.

As Yuva Sangam Phase VI progresses, the programme continues to create meaningful platforms for learning, interaction and cultural immersion, enabling young participants to emerge as ambassadors of national unity and cultural harmony.
