They bring together not just two hearts, but two families, and two cultures. When we think of wedding destinations, we are reminded of the ones outside the state, but Telangana is today geared to change that perception. Our state has untapped potential and is ready to change that narrative, we are blessed with spectacular venues to host grand weddings, with options to suit every budget and offer modern luxury and serenity of nature. Telangana is a treasure trove of destinations, just waiting to be explored. I urge all the esteemed wedding planners at today’s event to look at Telangana with a fresh perspective and request you to introduce these destinations to your clients within India and abroad. The Telangana Tourism is looking forward to collaborate with you and showcase these venues and thereby you discover the incredible locations. I urge you to not to restrict yourselves to South India, as you have enormous talent to make a mark globally, therefore its time you call your next edition the India Wedding Planners Conference. Let’s make Telangana the premier destination for weddings and establish Telangana as the undisputed leader of the global wedding industry.
Shri Jayesh Ranjan said, though Telangana has tremendous potential to be a top wedding destination, not many big weddings are happening here, Rajasthan, Kerala and other states continue to be the top priority. We have identified three destinations to be promoted as wedding destinations, all of them are within 150 kms from the city, they are Anantagiri, Nagarjuna Sagar, Somasila. The Telangana Government is ready to extend complete support to the wedding planners, especially those from outside the state can gain a seamless experience, through a single window experience.
