Kasauli, April, 2025 — The scenic hills of Kasauli came alive with the sounds of soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt purpose as the Kasauli Rhythm & Blues Festival 2025 wrapped up a power-packed edition at Baikunth Resort on April 18th and 19th. The Board of Directors of Shanthi Gears Limited (SGL), a subsidiary of Tube Investments of India Limited (TII), met today and approved the financial results for the quarter and year ended 31st March 2025.
Highlights
The Company continues to focus on 4 key priorities of Revenue, Profitability, ROIC and Free Cash Flow (FCF).
· Revenue of ₹ 153.2 Crores in Q4 at the same level as compared to ₹ 153.6 Crores in Q4 of previous year. Revenue of ₹ 604.6 Crores in the financial year with a 13% growth over previous year.
· The Profit Before Tax (PBT) of ₹ 31.4 Crores in Q4 at the same level as compared to ₹ 31.9 Crores in Q4 of previous year. PBT of ₹ 130.1 Crores in the financial year with a 19% growth over previous year.
· The Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) is 55% in this financial year from 57% in previous year.
· The Company generated Free Cash Flow (FCF) of ₹ 75.5 Crores during the financial year and registered 75% growth over previous year.
Open order book as on 31st March 2025 was Rs.239 Crores.
The Board of Directors have recommended a final dividend of ₹ 2 per share (200%) for the financial year 2024-25. The total dividend including the interim dividend (₹ 3 already paid ) is ₹ 5 per share (500%) for FY 2024-25.

Hindustan Zinc Advocates Galvanization to Save 5% of India’s GDP
New Delhi, 25th April 2025: Ahead of World Corrosion Awareness Day, Hindustan Zinc Limited , India’s only and the world’s largest integrated zinc producer, launched a series of impactful initiatives under its campaign #ZungKeKhilaafZinc to raise public awareness about corrosion and its widespread impact. The campaign underscores the awareness on corrosion, a critical issue that costs India nearly 5% of its GDP annually, amounting to over $100 billion in preventable losses. Corrosion, a natural yet relentless process, deteriorates metals through chemical and electrochemical reactions caused by moisture, oxygen, pollutants, and salts. This leads to accelerated structural damage and threatens key assets such as infrastructure and vehicle bodies. Zinc galvanization is a proven, scalable solution to prevent such losses by forming a protective barrier that extends metal life and performance.
As part of the campaign, the world’s largest integrated zinc producer rolled out a week-long integrated activation including social media outreach, on-ground demonstrations, and a nationwide consumer survey. Observed annually on 24th April, World Corrosion Awareness Day is an initiative by the World Corrosion Organization (WCO) to spotlight the enormous economic and environmental cost of rust. Globally, corrosion results in economic losses exceeding $2.5 trillion, or approximately 3%–4% of industrial nations’ GDP. In India with its 7,800 km coastline and high-humidity zones faces a high risk of corrosion.
