His teaching calls for devotion, selflessness, and release of the need to control. One of the key teachings of the Manas is to form a relationship with Shri Krishna. Manas further explains, that there are 5 Bhaavs(emotions) through which we can connect with Shri Radha Krishna. One of them is ‘Daas Bhaav’. In which the devotee forever remains in His service as a ‘dass’ (servant). Hanuman ji is devoted to Bhagwan Shri Ram with this bhaav and it exemplifies this surrender. His life is not one of doubting, but of profound, unshakeable faith in the divine. Each action is a demonstration of this – he neither asks for praise nor reward; his only goal is to serve with a heart pure and open.

Hanuman’s story is a vivid portrayal of active faith – it moves mountains and crosses oceans, driven by boundless love. It is a reminder that surrender does not mean inaction or passivity. Just as Shri Krishna’s teachings ask us to act without attachment, Hanuman’s deeds show us how to act with courage, knowing that every step taken in faith brings us closer to the divine.

Kolkata, 12th April, 2025: Ei Samay Deepti 2025 found its winner with Ms Rituparna Das from Kolkata taking home the coveted crown, presented by none other than the face of Deepti, superstar Ms Subhashree Ganguly.
